Building a Town to BRAG About

Broadford Residents Action Group (BRAG)

Since launching in late 2024, the Broadford Residents Action Group (BRAG) has been working with locals to gather ideas for improving our township.

Some projects are already with Mitchell Shire Council for consideration, while others could be driven by the community itself. Current ideas include:

• Creating a fenced off-leash dog park (possible through a community grant)

• Completing the “missing link” footpaths, especially for mobility scooters

• Restoring and maintaining the Lions Park to Chloe Court walking track

• Enhancing Broadford’s gateways and town entrances

• Tackling illegal rubbish dumping

• Forming a Broadford Traders Association to support local businesses

• Installing long-overdue kerb and channel works in Old Broadford

BRAG believes these projects can only happen if the community gets involved:
